Boy, has February disappeared quickly! What a whirlwind month it has been. Good thing we had a leap day! I’m excited to feature the Dominican Republic in this month’s newsletter. Specifically Punta Cana, since we are privileged to have a Non-Stop flight for the Months of June and July this summer! Punta Cana has several wonderful all-inclusive resorts scattered along the beaches. I love the people in the Dominican Republic, I have found them to be quite friendly. Wouldn’t it be great to be planning your Caribbean vacation right now, while we are in the midst of this cold winter weather? There happens to be some awesome sales going on now too! The nonstop flights fly Saturday’s only, but you can fly any day of the week that fits your needs. Puerta Plata is on the Amber coast which is awesome for Surfing and boogie boarding. Most people go to one area or the other, because navigating the island is not an easy task with the lack of roads.

Enjoy perusing through this month’s letter…. Abundant Blessings….Kina

How’s the Weather?

The average annual temperature hovering around 77°F. The summer season in the Dominican Republic runs from May to October. Average daily highs for the coastal/beach regions rise to around 87°F during the day, dropping down to about 72°F at night. It is the higher humidity during this period that can make it feel much hotter during this season. The mountainous interior of the country is considerably cooler.
